Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

The car looks great and I love the color, but I would not have striped it, if that was the way it came from the factory. Just my opinion.
My 68 R/T is also a stripe delete car and when I first bought the car I was going to add the stripe. After talking to a few people who talked me out of it. I'm now glad that I resisted the idea.  They said that there are just too many stripe added non R/T's cars out there. Why not be one of the few non striped R/T's cars out there. :icon_smile_cool:

So true, but actually everybody that has seen this car in person, talked me into doing the stripe. Yes its another stripe
delete car now with a stripe. It is amazing how much more attention the cars gets because of the stripe, most people that
see these cars that don't have a stripe, assume there not evan an R/T car, I know this first hand with this car, because the
stripe has been on for less than a year, so we had it for 28 years without it, and I was fine without it, I can take it off if I
get as anal with that being correct as I am with the rest of the car.

I also think the stripe looks good with the new pearl white top.

Bottom line, I got hit by pier pressure so stripe it is   :yesnod:

I like it with the stripe . It looks great .  :2thumbs: It is your wife's car. And she can do what she wants.   I had the same opinions when I added the stripes to my Challenger. Some are gonna love em, some are gonna hate em .  :shruggy:

I also did seats carpet headliner and dash, but all door panels, dash pads and console are in great original shape.

I was lucky to get some NOS material for the seats, that Legendary still has available ''for an extra cost''

Hey Dan, Was the console always that color?. My old JJ1 gold Charger also had that same interior. Only difference I see is that my console was about the color of the carpet. Mine was a very early car.just curious.

Hey Danno.

I'm not a fan of the stripe since every thing else looks so factory correct but regardless it looks good.
The stripe ties in with the whitewall tires & top.   :2thumbs:  Lookin' good my friend.

Hey There
Yes that is the original console, just a little lighter after I had it repainted, I told the guy it is a bit lighter color, but he was sticking to ''well that's just because the original
color had faded'' opinion. It is a December car, and it has alot of the early style parts. It has the early rear view mirror, only two rear seat belts, and the
rear buckles are not painted they are chrome. it also has the slide down ash tray. The car also came with the huge unsilenced air cleaner like the big block darts
all had, big dollar item these days, I thought it was the wrong air cleaner when I bought it in 82, and put the smaller one on it, then I talked to the original owner,
and sure enough it came with the big one.

Just about every one of the parts on the car has a September date on them.

Hey Mike

Been a long time guy, I only went to one car show last year, and that was in Canada. Thank god I drove only my car, we
got a call just before two, and it was my wife's Mom, her Dad had just been taken to the ER in bad shape. So we pulled
the car out of the show and flew back home. Still can't believe I did not get a ticket on the way home in the ''big red Dodge''  :shruggy:
maybe getting pulled over on the way up there at 6am was the quota for the day   :yesnod: :yesnod:

Hey Dan, how ya been? The car's looking real good. :2thumbs:

Hey Curtis

Good to hear from you as well. Well life has been tough the last couple years, and losing my father in law last June
has been extremely difficult for everybody, he was the father in law you wanted to have, so his wife and five kids
have it worse.

We all have our troubles in life, so I try not to complain much  :popcrn:

I did get some things accomplished on another car in the last three years, but it has to go back to the body and paint guy   :rotz:

You & me both.  My only complaint about life is against those who are the complainers.  Imo, no reason to bitch if you have legs.
Life's like a blank paint canvas, it's yours to create anything you want.  Either you create your own master piece or you crumble it up & snivel .

I just got out of the hospital, staph blood infection.  A lot worse than the last visit during July 4th week...I'll email you.

Sorry about Patricia's Father.  I remember you speaking highly of him.   It's tough enough finding someone to give us a hand but when they're taken away it really hurts.

I got 'cha on car shows last year.  I took the Charger to 2 shows & the SRT 10 to our club's show.

I'm working on having jackets made up for 1st place finishers @ our club's show this year.  They've also put the show off a couple months later into the summer.  Out of the past 3 years, 2 have been rain.  The 1st rain day we had maybe 30 rigs' show up.  The club ended up eating close to $1700 from trophies & raffle prizes.
