One word, RUN.

Congrats man........if you end up having kids, they will detour you from your projects, but you'll love them to death anyways.

You are now, give it 6 months to a year and then report back.  Dont let her eat the wedding cake, and start the bean jar test.

Getting married is like death, everyone can tell you what its like, but you will never really understand untill it happens and by then its too late.  Or a more female friendly version of that story:  Getting married is like a catapillar turning into a beautiful butterfly.  Other catapillars can tell you what its like to fly but you never really know untill you turn into a butterfly.  By then its too late to turn back into a catapillar, but you are very happy with now being a butterfly.   :icon_smile_big:

:smilielol:

Shes supported me with the charger I did have... she gave me $5000 from her tax return to get the parts I desired for it to get it to a good stage. Shes been supportive in everything I have ever wanted to do.

PS: The deposit that has  gone for Allens car... that came from her also.

Lose her and lose everything.

Just remember.... Once you both say the "I Do's". She'll say, I dont! Or wont, or have no interest in. There are many different variations.

Good Luck!!

I once heard, "I wouldn't trade my marriage for all the happiness in the world".  Not my feelings but there will be moments.

G-man I don't know the little lady, but I do know your getting a great Charger.  If I can give you some advice?  After several years of marriage my wife told me I was spending way to much time and money on the restoration of my Challenger, and it was the car or her.  I took that seriously and bought two Chargers.  The last few years she has been saying nobody needs three cars to take to shows, you can only drive one at a time.  You should sell at least one car.  So I sold G-man my 68, and bought my first ever turn key car, for more than I sold the 68 for.  I guess what I am saying is, as long as you pursue what truly makes you happy (and it ain't another women) and it doesn't take food out of her mouth or close of her back, she will forgive you.  At least mine has for the last 28 years!  I guess she is lucky I am a wrestling coach, which takes up all my time in the winter, or I would move her away from her family to a warm climate.  So I could drive my cars year round.  Congratulations George! and I hope you both enjoy the 68 as much as both me and my wife have the last 8 years.

Congrats George! I married my best friend Saturday! Everyone asked why, at this age we would even bother getting married, kids are grown...I told them I knocked him up...they laugh. You will fight, you will laugh, and you will discuss the money...keep your eyes on the long run...I can't imagine my life without my best friend nor can he.
