It's not KISS without Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.....No way, No how. Good show maybe but not the real KISS

You can't play the same hand without the same 4 cards.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

What about the Rolling Stones? What about AC/DC? Guns and Roses? Scorpions? Journey? Iron Maiden? Judas Priest? The Beatles? Metallica? Ozzy? VanHalen?...Etc...ALL these groups got bigger after original members left...

I consider myself a huge KISS fan.  I have seen them close to twenty times and at one point had a collection large enough to make Gene envious.

My opinion on this, KISS is so much better without drunks on drums and guitar.  I saw KISS back in the late 90's and Ace was so drunk the guy could hardly walk, let alone play.  In fact, a couple times he almost fell.  And Peter, in my opinion was not all that great of a drummer.  Through the years, Ace and Peters drug use and alcoholism greatly affected the band.  From the beginning, Ace would go on a all night drunk fest and not show up to record a album for days.  KISS has had to use studio musicians throughout the years on albums to cover for these two.  I think people would crap if they knew how much Ace did not play on the albums. On the Emmy award winning KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park (enter sarcasm here) Peter was out getting wasted for days at a time and was not able to do his voice overs.  They had do cut his voice from the entire movie and have someone else fill in.  And not to mention all the times they were to drunk or wasted on drugs they could not even go on stage and someone had to fill in for them.  Some may criticize, but the fact is the band sounds so much better with Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.  Should they be wearing the make-up?   Personally, I do not have a problem with it.  I understand from a marketing standpoint it would have made it difficult to change all the merchandising.  I guess if I had my say, which I don't, they would dump the make-up all together and get Bruce Kulick back in the band.  But that is just my opinion.

Cody,  Thanks for the video.  Just to let you know, you have one video marked "Do you love me?"  You are correct.  That is the name of the song.  I would have loved to take video when I saw them a few weeks ago.  I was afraid being in the sixth row, security would have taken the camera away and thrown me out, as KISS puts "No Cameras Or Video" on their tickets.  Glad you had a good time.  Can not wait until you post the pictures.

I put the "?" at the end of "Do You Love Me" as a part of the song name ;)

I like the old Kiss.  That's what a lot of your videos are too Cody.  You got good taste.

The last time I seen them was mid 80's or so in DFW.  My Mom bought my little brother & I tickets that were like less than 20 rows back.  My first concert sober.  ;)

Back in grade school the 6th graders' put on a show at the end of the year.  Four of us put on our KISS shirts & had make up & lipped synced Detroit Rock City.  Our drummer did a solo at the end, the only real talent.  The kids' loved us.  :icon_smile_big:  I used to be a big KISS fan.  It was after the solo albums that I started waning.

Tastes have changed over the years but Boston will always be my favorite group.   :METAL:
