I believe I have sold my car off to Australia.  Breath taking country, I visited Perth in my Navy days.  I am glad to be making room for my new Daytona, but a bit sad that it is going so far away.  I will most likely never see tha car again.  At least it is going to a member here.  He can reveal himself if he chooses, but I think he is getting a great deal on a fantastic charger!

Thanks OneofNoneRT, Hows that sun roof car comming?  Yes, she is a nice car and I just loved the color combo, but my Daytona is every bit as sweet, and I think it is a pretty good deal as well!  Hope to see you and your wife again next year in StLouis.  Next year I should be in the wing car laps instead of watching

i'm sure if you had a way to get chargers out to australia cheaply you could make a real killing as the price of them out here is ludicrous, at least $10,000 for basket cases.

have a look at this website and tell me if you think those prices are good for a charger (there are two 68's on there today)

That colour looks quite interesting on ur project...

A goldcharger with black vinyl and stripe...not what Id do but hell Id love to see that... seems in my mind to work really really well with that shaped car and unusual to... awesome!

O well...

I wanna see some1 with a gold charger!

I like that blue to... looks different from what Im used to. I like a bright car (hence orange was my pic) but I like blue... this blue is bright... so u kinda get the same idea happening (brightchrome white interior = all bright).

I believe it will be to a specific somebody. Basicaly if it doesnt sell on moparmarket by the time he gets back, he will take it. I also dont believe the cars as 'bad' as the shop has made out... I mean, they said the car would fall appart... we drove it all over the place and drove it hard (up to 6000rpm) and stuff... Never even dreamed it had all these 'problems'. Even if it had the problems... theres 2500 worth in parts (got that quoted already on all those replacement panels) so anyone that can go in there and weld... hell it is an awesome car.

Hey Husk, does this place look familiar???

41husk

It has been years but looks like perth?  I spent 3 of the five days we were ported drinking and chasing women.  I found both the beer and women fantastic.  Many guys went UA chose to stay on the beach rather than return to a boat full of guys.  I got paid $200 to take a guys duty just so he could go out all four days.  I would not have done it but I had already spent all of my money.  I truly wish I had been a bit older through my Navy years.  I went to many great countries. that I only saw the bar district :shruggy:  It seemed like the best use of my time at the time :brickwall:   On another note the 68 is officially G-man's and will be going down under soon.

Yeah, the port of Fremantle with Rottnest Island on the Horizon. We get quite a few Naval vessels come through here because of our geographical location to the middle east. Always cool to see a huge ACC moored in Guage Roads and a destroyer moored in the docks  :2thumbs: .
