I just ordered some metal from AMD and was told it wont ship for a couple days (product is in stock) due to the high ship volume. I thought that was interesting, looks like the resto world is humming right along.. :yesnod:

It is unless you sell crappy parts that don't fit right. AMD doesn't have that problem. I wonder if the other places are wishing they would have done it right the first time now?

Inspect everything for damage.   They ship via YRC.     Don't let the driver go until you check everything completely and if anything is damaged by something like... say 9 weight plates that some jackass threw into the pallet then let them know you're pissed and want some compensation.

Right on the money gentlemen. I had to buy a new hood for my 69 from AMD. The shipping time was only a few days from Georgia to norcal and I looked over every square inch of it  before I signed off on it. AMD's products are excellent but you still need to thoroughly check parts for damage, its only prudent.

I'm awaiting a container with a challenger in AMD parts, I can only hope they arrive OK. Would hate if my shakerhood was wrecked. :eek2:

I just received my order today, I placed the order through a vendor about 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was a fairly large order and was shrunk wrapped on an oversized pallet. Everything was positioned upright so nothing else could be stacked on top of it. I haven't noticed any damage besides the very end edge of the corner of the rear valence is bent due to no end support inside the box.
The trucking company "Yellow" showed up about 3 hours earlier than scheduled so I had to come home from work (that's not necessarily a bad thing), and the second digit on my address was off a number so they showed up a block away. Other than that, I'm extremely happy.   ;D
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

I recently transported a car and those guys are humming along as well. So people are still moving/buying cars.
