Does the V indicate this engine came out with a sixpack?

There were no external stampings on the engine to indicate a Six Pack although that one is indicated as a high performance one.  I don't know what the "V" is there for, a misprint?

The "V" might be an upside down "A" which is the code for .020" oversized cylinders. Got a pic?
