I am just getting home from one of the best trips in my life. Anyone remember the flooding that was going on in Little Rock a couple weeks ago? Here is a shot of the charger forging that rain that night.

This next shot was the next day in Oklahoma, cool photo op we could not pass up.

Then on to vegas to sit in Hot Rod Alley as part of the Optima Challenge Display. Here is a utube of that event

that was held the day after SEMA. We had a blast beating on the hotrods for sure. Then our posse headed back to Tn. There were five of us in the group, pretty cool trip indeed.

Thanks Mike. Third gens don't get love many places, but they are my favorite. The car made a good showing I think at the Challenge. I am not sure what my times were on the big track, but I did a 48.1 on the autocross, and 8.54 0-60-0. Not bad for a big heavy car. We weighed it yesterday, it is 3870#. Should have some better springs and swaybar before next event now that we have something to go on.

I enjoyed being part of SEMA again with another car, but to race it and get to drive it across country was way more fun. We drove thru the mudslide in Little Rock, minutes before there was a wreck that closed the interstate for about 12 hours. We still had mud under the cars when they were sitting at SEMA, probably the only ones there that had mud but we were good with that, they will get more if we get our way.

If you think the car looks good in pictures, you should see it LIVE AND IN PERSON!  :yesnod: I should tell ya, it performs as good if not just a scoche better than it looks!  :drool5: I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bill a few weeks ago and he took me for a ride in the car. My head is still churning with ideas!  :icon_smile_tongue: On top of having an awsome car, Bill is a top notch character in my book. Mark is alright too!

That car is awesome. If I knew you where coming through Arkansas I'd given you a dry place to park your car and a place to stay for the night. You had to come through Clarksville on the way to Las Vegas.
Go Hogs!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. The car is a blast, and did well on the trip out. As you can see in the quick shot it handles well at speed too, fun to sling such a boat around with all the camaros, people can not believe how well it handles.
