What diameter? That has a huge impact on choices.

I'm running Hoosier, 27 X 11.50 X 15" On the Dart right now and Like 'em fairly well....The M&H's I had on it wouldn't do well on the street OR the track....

I want 215/70-R15's on the front and I'm thinking 245/60-R15's for the back. I'm too good with tires sizes so I'm not positive..... :shruggy: Somebody clue me in please? :icon_smile_big:

One of the best discussions of performance oriented, 15" tires I've seen is located here;  http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34692

I don't know how big of a wheel you can fit in a duster but I have 255/60-r15 in the rear of my Charger on 15x7 wheels and 225/60-r15 on I think 15x6 wheels in the front.

Cody, they were 14" on the front.  I would suggest Radial T/A's for your Duster.

Best choice would be round black ones with good tread  :nana:

I know but I decided to put 15x7's on my car instead of 14x6's on the front and 15x7's on the back like yours.

You might have a problem with 15" wheels on the front.  That's a good question to ask on a-body forums.

Charger-Bodie

I had 15x7 steelies on a 69 Valiant with 235 60s and I had to tweak the front of the fender out just a little to get clearance.  :Twocents:

That's what I've been doing and so far I've seen people with bigger sizes :shruggy:

I guess maybe I should ask how you else intend to use them. If it is just a street cruiser, then as long as they are round, black, and cheap, they are fine. Cheap because you may not put enough miles on them to wear them out before they dry rot. If you ever plan on a trek down the 1320 or a dash around an autocross, then the requirement will change.

The issue with most 15" tires is that the demand for them is limited to predominately street cruisers, so the technology and materials that make 17" tires so much better are not trickling down to the 15" sizes. Most manufacturers have not updated their 15" tire lines since the 1990s, so you going to be trucking around on at least 10 year old tech if not more than that. Not an issue of your just driving in the occasional parade, down to the show and shine, and an occasional car show.

A couple of tires that may actually have some newer design stuff in them would be the Mickey Thomspn S/R series and the Maxxis Maruader. I say this because these basic designs have also been put together in 17-20 sinch izes, so the overall carcass design can be downsized to 15" sizes. Tthey also are speed rated to H instead the S or T that most 15" tires have.

I have BFG's   245/60/15    15x7 Craggar ss   front
                   275/60/15    15X8 Craggar ss   rear

Look good ,cruise good, easy to scrape the rubber off the quarter panels.  $450 a set.    60 foot times suck.

Can only have fun with ricers in a straight line.

G-man

Hoosier Pro Streets are very good to.

H rated also.

+ they look better than M/T  :D

I just plan on using them for cruising. Don't plan on drag racing considering it's a 318 car :P Apperentley according to the A body site....the BFG T/A radial can go as large as a 235/60-15 on a 6.5 inch wheel (I'm putting 15x6.5s on my car).

Cody,

Id put the 235 60 15 tires on all 4 corners.....That looks better than bigs and littles to me.
