I want one of those, has to be pretty rare with 396hp....  :slap:

The Golden Lion's clock in at 305 horse.

Ghoste - Was there a Sonoramic version in '60?

I'd have to look but I thought it was just the 413.  (are you asking or do you already know and you're testing me?)

Interesting and a bit of a mystery engine too huh?  They don't list hp ratings for any actual RB 383 cross ram but I suppose it's a somewhat moot point other than for our own education since this 6000 dollar 383 clearly isn't one of them.

Being said, I would like to more know about those engines Chrylser slipped past the NHRA.

Must be one of those "Hemi Redline Magnum HiPo" engines as a toothless hillbilly once described a siezed up 383 in a clapped out Coronet 440 to me. But in all fairness he only wanted $500 for it back in 1990. A good deal I'm sure...If I had only had the cash.....or a 12 pack.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

Me too!
I love that era. I have always been tempted to buy one of those set-ups at the swaps - they are Pure Art.
