Have you changed the flasher?

here I posted how to test 70s turning signal switches

but I'm agree.. check for flasher first

i changed out one of the flashers acouple weeks ago because it went out and made my turn signal  light in the dash just stay lite up. but checked all of the bulbs and they all will flash so they should be good. or is this a sign of one maybe going out? maybe try replacing them all around?

Nacho-RT74

flasher must be blink the bulbs once get the bulbs load. That load makes heat the flasher untill gets cold, then heats again, colds, hot cold... that makes the blinking function cuting and restoring the power with the heating/colding process. If turning lights are not blinking but they are ON, still flasher is bad.

If pilot light at cluster stays ON ( without blink ) and outside lighst doesn't turn on, is some bulb or wiring related. Pilot light doesn't gives enough load to make blink the flasher. Turning switch damaged ? hard will be that, since pilot light is spliced from the front turning lights. If pilot lights on, front at least should light on. UNLESS some extremelly weird happens inside the switch.

First check all your ground wires on wiring harness,  if they work sometimes and then don't work sometimes it  thru ur electrical system sounds like a bad connection somewhere, simple go over your wiring and connectors.

I agree... dunno challyes on rear, but 73/74 Chargers having plastic tail lights housings they have a ground point on trunk tail panel reinforcement. Eyelet terminal at tail light housing harness.

All Mopars have a ground attaching on forward harness at radiator core support at a side of battery.

thanks for the suggestions if it helps at all i can go out and put the turn signals on and they will work fine until i drive the car and everything gets warmed up then the trouble starts. it always seems to happen when the cars all warmed up but fine when i just start the car.
