'71 Purple Super Bee...

Hello all,

I found this picture of a purple Hemi Super Bee on Moparts, but somethink caught my eye and I was wondering if y'all could explain it to me. It has hidden headlights on it, but I have never seen a set with the red stripe going through the middle. Mine, like the others I have seen is black. Also, the grilles themselves are different. Look closely at the pattern and you will see that it is also different from mine. Granted, mine is Charger SE, but I have seen other Super Bees and they look like mine... Were there two different offerings? I really like how the red looks...

Hey Texas Charger, that's a grille from a '72. The red is either paint or a pinstripe and is done by the owner.

72s are as you noticed with more vertical fins and WITHOUT, Dodge badge on hideways door.
