I am considering the above engine swap. My car has PS, PB, A/C. I want to keep all the options in place after the engine swap. Is this going to be a big pain in the butt or can I buy a few different brackets for the accessories and bolt the 440 in place?

Thanks,

Should be a simple swap. Just use your existing brackets, pumps etc.

if you ask me, a 75 440 without mods, doesn't worth to susbstitute a 68 383 ( they are allmost same HP being heavier and cast crank )

diff stuff if you fit it with mods ( pistons and cam as MINIMUN to make it similar to earliers 440s... not really necesary forged crank but better if you do  )

just an opinion ( I know nobody asked about  :slap: )

Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Nacho I totally agree, but I will be putting new cam, pistons, etc. The 440 will be a 75 only in date code and the cast crank. I am considering putting a forged crank in there for safe keeping. We will see how the budget comes along.

A cast crank is worth about 500 HP isn't it?

Nice!

has been told, yes, for some "experts" so thats why I think IMHO is not a demand, but just better

What about the A/C components?
