Last couple weekends the Ol Charger is not getting gas to start. Looked all over and under for leaks and nothing. Pulled the breather and looked down in the carb and saw no gas as I moved the throttle. Got the gas can and dumped a bit down in the carb and it fires right up and runs and drives great. I can shut it off for a bit and It will start right away no problems. It's almost as if the fuel pump or something is loosing it's prime during the week. Any Ideas? Fuel pump going? It does have 200,000 on it.

Fuel filter- Fuel pump or fuel pump pushrod.   Check filter first if its ok pull the pushrod and measure it.

Put a new filter on today. I get the Purolator clear plastic type. Put the new one on and she started right up. Noticed this filter had alot more fuel inside than the other. We'll see how the car starts next weekend. Thanks.

A Holley should keep gas in the bowls for awhile...Maybe it was just a simple fix with your filter change.  Fwiw, I have been seeing a lot of late models getting stopped up filters with the "new" blends at the pump...it'll prob get worse with the winter swill  :eyes:
