Maybe, maybe not. I'd rather see one guy hording them for years inside a dry building than seeing several idiots, wrecking them, abusing them and leaving them out in a field somewhere to rot. At least these cars are complete and can pretty easily be brought back given the condition in which they've been kept.

That's the other end of the spectrum...I too would rather see them in storage than being abused and abandoned.  Cars like these should be used, but they should also be lovingly used and cared for.

I understand. But look at it this way; at least these cars most likely will and can be restored someday and cared for whereas the other examples I cited were abused and discarded. Although this guy might not be the best housekeeper and may not be able to afford the best storage facility he at least has an appreciation for the cars and the foresight to understand their value.

I agree.....some have bigger dreams than others and everything works out and they pursue and collect a lot of these jewels then more power to them.  I think he has his hands full and will never get them all done but hey if that's what he wants so who's business is it .....only his. I'm sure he has plans for when he passes away so they will just be saved for someone else to sit on or pass down the generations as they see fit. I would make sure I have some watch dogs and alarm systems because I wouldn't trust ANYONE!......especially to come on my property and then post all my property on a public site. If he has alarms and security and he doesn't care I guess this is all fine but hey thats just my

Pretty sad seeing them going to waste. I can't think any reason to let them sink that deep into the ground and rot the bottoms out. I know he has the best inside but it's kind of an example of having too many cars. I know that it's his businesses what he does with them but it's still sad. Thanks for the pics

I can not get my head around that treasure trove of mopar nirvana!!!! The Daytona, the 69 hemi R/T, the many other Chargers.............its like mopar heaven! Just to walk through all that stuff would be intoxicating. Thanks for the pictures Ryan, they've made a crappy Friday the 13th much better!

Looks like none of the project cars are actually a work in progress. Probably not even 1 will get restored. Its his collection, so he will do as he pleases.

I just hope that nothing tragic happens to his collection and they end up destroyed ect. How many times has that happened a collection of cars not for sale end up destroyed.

Not only that but, as we've seen before, I'd be amazed if all of it is insured (especially for the real value). It would really suck emotionally to lose all that history but the financial impact would be massive.

I love seeing big original collections in a way but in other ways it's sad. These cars should be driven and shared with others. When I was younger I knew I couldn't afford any of these old and rare cars but I swore that if/when I could that I'd drive them all the time. There are lots of people who never get to see a real Hemi car or wing car in person and if just one of these cars were drivable it could make an impact on many lives. maybe it's just me...

The guy does work on his cars.  They are fine.  He has a fire prevention system and everything.  The cars are fine.  His wife is a wonderful person and a car girl.  She knows the cars and what they are worth, just like him.
