They sill exist!
I had heard rumors about a stash of barn cars and parts for several years including 3 Q5 Turquoise cars, one supposedly had a wing! Saturday I got a chance to confirm the existence of these machines. The first "barn" had no less than 6 or 7 69 Chargers, and a handful of other cars, and a TON of parts and equipment, dealer signage etc.... And sure enough right there at the door was a Q5 Charger RT 440 4-speed car.
:o

Sorry about the picture quality. I was having setting issues with my camera!
The outdoor shots came out great. I'll post more as I get time

Holy Q5 batman !!!!!!!  I love Q5 and to be on a R/T that's a 440 4-speed !!!!! :2thumbs:

Stupid but obvious question, any for sale or on the market or are they all potential future "restorations"?

Then I saw it  -  A Wing! Here was a partially disassembled Q5 Daytona, 440, black wing, black interior 4-Speed car!

Calm down Troy!!

Next to the Daytona was a pile of parts including the nose, fenders etc... and another Q5 car under a bunch of boxes here in the first picture.
This was a complete 69 RT car that was parked here years ago and has only had the battery removed. We opened the hood on this one.

wow   :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:
These were just the Q5 cars, there were 2 Hemi Chargers in this building and about 10 cars total, in another building he has the "A" body stuff, and then a barn of parts, a couple of trucks and school busses full of parts, then his own "junkyard" out at the back of his property with another 20 or so cars. We never even got the chance to check out his "garage" just the outbuildings!

What did the fender tag read?  The 4-speed hump does look pretty original, but there's an auto brake pedal dangling there.

Thanks for sharing your adventure/find - that's really cool stuff!

As you can see Ryan, my photography (or at least camera) sucks!

My brain is still trying to process all of the parts/equipment and Cars there.
We had another photographer with us and he should have a TON of great pictures, it was absolutely unbelievable.
I'm pretty sure the Q5 Daytona is one of the known cars, but this gentlemen is simply a collector, and these are not going anywhere anytime soon would be my guess.
I am going to likely buy some "A" body stuff from him though if he will sell it for my Demon project.

Great to see these cars are indoors/  :2thumbs:  I just wish they would be in a better state of repair but you know the guy has them and that is more than I can say....

Very nice he allowed you in to take photos too.... That is COOL  :2thumbs:

Also, mine came out OK.  The lighting or lack of really screwed up my Camera as well.  I got maybe 300 good ones out of 400.

Also... Shud and I found those Challenger Verts after you left in the guys garage......

SORRY... I hit quote instead of Modify.

Geno, No fender tag on the car, but I believe he does have it. The story goes the car came from Florida and was taken to Missouri to be restorred, but due to an impending flood, he brought the car back up here and here it has been ever since. he also said that there was a 340 powering the car when he bought it in Florida

Don't worry, we have censored all the license plate numbers, ends of VIN's and will not release his name.  He doesn't want to be known, so he won't.

Looks like it, but it isn't.  He didn't have any roll up doors like that.

Where is that barn where you got your 500 at?!?!

A B-52!  That must be some lake.

As for Scott - that had to be awesome.  Thanks for sharing the pics and reminding us why we look into every open barn/garage/storage bldg, etc...

I am sure that you and Scott will try to protect the owner's identity... my hope is that a cross-indexing guesser does not try to publically ID him...

On Moparts a few years ago I mentioned a friend's collection using only his first name and last initial... "someone" replied using his first initial and last name, and threw in the city he lived in for good measure...  :flame:

On the positive side, I sure am enjoying the pictures!!!  :yesnod:  :drool5:
