I know this manifold is for a 70 - 71 Charger, but what is this threaded stud attached to the manifold used for?

One more thing, is this A/C tag a repro or an original?

Thanks,

maxwellwedge

Stud? - Is there a pic missing? Tag looks old - I'll have to check mine to see if the layout is the same.

I guess I missed this picture.

On some big blocks there is a sheet metal shroud encircling the exhaust manifold that is held in place by a nut that fastens to this stud.  The shroud has a provision on top for attaching a flex hose up to the air cleaner.
