Thanks for all of the kind words it does help. The doctor suggested that we call hospice in to help the next few months. It is just so hard i did not think this is how my father would go. He loved flying and restoring warbirds and had many friends get killed in old warbirds and i knew that was what would happen to him but the good part is that this way i can say everything i wanted to and i have no regrets. Me and my father have had a great relationship and that is something a lot of people do not get.

done buddy, i hope for the best.  The Lord has a design, and though we may go through trials and tribulations on this world, peace and comfort await us in Heaven.  If you father is not a Christian, please ask him to find any way to allow Him into his heart.  It is only through our Lord Jesus Christ that one can find God.

Sorry for that news, i lost my aunt cause of the lung cancer, but my cousin, had some kind of cancer in his neck and he fought against it for 5 yrs of chemotherapy and he is ok now thank God, I hope your Dad feels better, I'll say a prayer for him. And as skip said, try go out on vacations with your Dad.
