it is currently on ebay right now, if ya want the link, check the ebay ads section.  Looks really nice and only $10,000 as of now hehe, 9 days left though.

Any one have any history on it?  Just curious about if what the owner is stating about this car as being all true.

I know of this 500. And yes the car is definately a low mileage car. It is a numbers matching HEMI 500.

Only things I can think of that aren't correct on the car is the rocker moldings. That car didn't come with rocker moldings but a previous owner pulled those off of his other 500 and put them on this HEMI 500, because he said it looked better with them.

I also don't get the statement about the car only having 3 owners. I know of 2 different owners in the past 1 1/2 years for this car. And apparently its at its 3rd owners house now since its in Illinois, and last I knew the car was in Kentucky.

the plot thickens!! hehe thanks for the info 69_500

Not really a plot thickening. But then again I don't know if those owners ever titled the car in their names or not. I doubt they did, because neither one of them ever intended to drive the car.

Man, that thing's gorgeous and to think it was right here in Houston new !!!!  Too bad I'm not the original owner, his name was Troy as well.. I would have never sold it !!!

Is the fact that it is black what makes this car 1 of 3? If that is true the only one I have ever seen up close must be the one of the others. There is a guy in MN that has the one in the pic. I have seen it a few times driving around. It is a nice car.

There is the unrestored real low mileage black '69 500 with the red interior also. I think the original owner was nicknamed "Speedy" and he used to own a dealership before he passed away. The car was featured in a magazine a few years back and was also in the survivor class at the Mopar Nationals.

This car belongs to a guy named Mike.  I've been to his place once.  This car was originally T5 though, so not one of the 3.

Did you see the orange Daytona at that same show?  It is his also.

Yep I saw that too, and if I am not mistaken that is his Hemi Roadrunner next to it too. It at least had the same name on the card in the window! Small world.

Have a great day!

Not his roadrunner.  At least that i know of.  He only has the '69 500, '69 Daytona, and a black '68 painted to match the 500.
Anyways, see you at Anoka this summer maybe.

What a beautiful car!! :o
Looks like it's got a little bondo cracking at the back of the 1/4. Maybe I could get a blemish discount? :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Here is a black 500 i had saved on my comp.

Is this his Daytona?

It is the only picture I have from the same car show with an orange Daytona. Sorry this was the best shot I could get because there was a crowd around the front of it that never seemed to disperse enough to get a good picture.   I must be mistaken with the Roadrunner. My Buddy said the name on the cards in their windows was the same. I remember thinking, “wow! What a lucky guy a Daytona, a Hemi 500, and a Hemi Roadrunner. He still is one of the luckiest people around in my book!

Have a great day!

It looks like a bondo crack right at the end of the 1/4, by the end cap...I could be seeing things, though.
(sorry, I don't have photoshop)

If you look where the crack is you will see the body line kind of turns up or gets flatened out.Bet my car has 99% more filler in it than that 500 has and I put it on it so what can I say.A little filler never hurt anything if it was done right.

You're right, HH. I shouldn't have really said anything about the little bondo, it's really a beautiful car...sometimes I type first & think second. :icon_smile_big:

One of you aero guys was saying something recently about the side markers being body colored & some being stripe color? The eGouge car seems to be stripe color.
Has it been determined which way is correct? Or was it both?

As far as I know all 500 reflector frames are the body color and the Daytonas are the stripe color.

The red one I've been talking about in the other 500 thread has it body color.
