I also have the '04 set on there, as well as many wing meets.  All of my pics are public, meaning anyone can go look and download any of them.  Troy, for whatever reason I have a pile of pics of your car...you happened to park it in a lot of the right places at the right times...  I also made a point of taking a lot of crowd shots, so look for yourself.  I know I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to shows--we usually point the camera at the cars instead of the people who drove them, and that's a shame.

Mopar John

Doug,
Thanks for the great pictures! I didn't know if we would make it to our 7th anniversary on November 1st the day of the parade lap. But we got the Daytona restored and made it. By your picture of Linda it looks like she's ready to do another one!

Nice pics. I'm definitely driving the bird to Dega next time.

Awesome pictures!  I'm very impressed!  Being into photography, I've got a question... what type of camera do you have?  I'm looking to purchase another in the near future.  Thanks for posting!

94 is the best you could do?

Great pics!

Thanks for sharing!

ha no--I picked that one because it had a higher average speed.  this one better?

and some more.

bump fleck, rick edwards, mike atkins and I hanging out in Mike's basement on Tuesday night.  Mike showed me his farms, his "stripey" cows, his collection of aero cars, his absurd quantity of toy aero cars and a heaping dose of southern hospitality.

you have to appreciate the scenery sometimes.

the camera wasn't happy about the lighting but with these cars the whole 'surface of the moon' feel is appropriate.

I wanted to take three cars home with me from this meet (on top of the one I drove down.)  third place goes to the awesome white on white, four speed bird from North Dakota.  I am a HUGE sucker for w-on-w cars and this one was a stick.  awesome.  second place is Tim's survivor, original paint, six pack, white interior Corporation Blue Superbird.  I don't think it gets much better than that.  Car #1, though, is this one:  A Corporation Blue, black bench, six pack, four speed car that is the near identical twin to our car, and is the serial number before ours--0A168775 to our 0A168776.  Ours is from Ft. Wayne, this one is from Columbus OH, and both were sales bank cars.  I was ecstatic to find a car which was almost certainly painted out of the same gun on the same lane as our car!

I tried all week to get this one to come home with me, too.  maybe someday...

sheer genius or collective stupidity?  you be the judge.  either way this motley bunch deservedly took top honors in the costume contest.  ol' Charlie had to be convinced to be in the pics, though

Melanie and I showing off our 'bama mud at the track.  Saturday was the only rainy time we had, and we'll take it.

Joe Machado not only drove he hauled a trailer from California, passed the track and went to Florida, and went home.  cloners, there's your gold standard.

Troy.....

remember that these are "large" size pics, but you can click on the 'all sizes' tab on every picture in flickr and get the full size ones.  i've printed them out 8x10 before out of this camera and they're perfect.

for comparison THIS is a full-size pic:

Perfer the sheer Genius......

We had a blast, when Linda & I started talking about doing a group we started thinking simple then she planned tires to go with the pit crew so of course I thought the gas can was a must have and Brandon was great at it.

And Wayne having the car there just topped it off, and didn't have to twist Charlie's arm to hard for the picture......I think he really enjoyed it.

I see no shovels or scrapers so I guess it's true they don't melt in the rain.

Thanks for the pix.  Impressive bunch of rides.  :2thumbs:
