I'm told that this 58 single headlite version is rare, most were dual headlight, the reason that this car went to Sweden...go figure...bk

Looks like a photo (circa September, 2003) that no one would be interested in, right?...

Now for the rest of the story...

...on the back of this trailer is the entire driveline, hemi engine, tranny, bell housing, Dana, springs, engine mounts, etc. to a 1969 4 speed hemi roadrunner convertible...John Aruzza knows the story, he knew Carroll Hendrix from back in the day...I bought the driveline, contacted Galen and the driveline was reunited with the car, if you were at Carlisle this year you saw the items on the back of this trailer...only in better condition...it was back home between the fenders of the green hemi rr convertible at the nostalgic building, Beeney Motors...bruce

So I called Galen, who (suprisingly) returned my call...the stamping on this super rare hemi engine was absolutely correct (had not seen the light of day since 1973), the numbers are so sloppy that only mother mopar could have done it...take a good look at the sloppy welding underneath any hemi mopar where the underneath bracing was added (around the rear end cross member)...looks like %&$#...will post a photo later...bk

The numbers on the tranny for the 69 hemi rr...bk

a recycled sox and martin car...bought in 1972 by Carroll Hendrix, actually sat in Albemarle, NC, at a service station in sox and martin colors, block windowed thru the oil pump area at Wadesboro dragstrip 1972, body was so acid dipped it was fallying apart, so Mr. Hendrix took most of the parts off and stored them, used the trunk and a few other items...bk

This is the only photo that I ever took of Ron Adair...Ron passed away just before the Carlisle show in July, 2007, and we miss him greatly...as rough as he was I enjoyed his company and he was a no B.S. guy...and he knew a lot about mopars...he owned some of the rarest cars in the hobby and I always enjoyed visiting...His wife, Wendy, passed the year before Ron, and I go back to the early 80's with the family and remember Greg when he was a teen ager...when you get to be 62 years old you begin turning the camera away from cars and taking more photos of people...

Guys, if you have any nos sheet metal you might want to consider unloading it but you can pretty much forget prices like this $3,000 charger quarter panel...the AMD sheet metal is by far the best I've ever seen...
