 Brockton Dodge daytona miles dealer installed vinyl top a old post had it a 11K miles .Came across more pictures surfing the internet.It has 911 back in its day on its nose cone. Under my daytona and pictures I didnt recall seeing before.And some archive dealership and memorabilia under my dads dealership

Not insinuating anything,but a odometer with red tenths is a replacement unit.

As I said I saw this car at the dealership back about 1987 or so.  The story I heard was that is was on the lot when it was new and this dealership was right on a busy 2 lane road and a guy lost control driving by and wiped the car out.  The car then sat in the back of the service garage for many years until someone got the idea to fix it.  I do remember the body work being pretty bad and maybe the vinyl top was to hid damage.

I hadn't seen this car since then until these threads.

 Chime back in when you find additional info on possible crashed into 69 daytona.And vinyl top was installed to hide damage on that daytona
photo album shows it outside in 1971   In front of Showroom 1971. Same Car at home today 2009, Thanks Dad.
