I bought a set of mr gasket #1135 steel shim head gaskets for my 400 and on their website it says that they are silicone coated but i was wondering if any body recommends something extra or just leave them as is

I use a copper spray on them that works well.

:iagree: The copper hi-tack stuff works great on steel shim gaskets.  :2thumbs:
