Thats a nice improvement in cylinder pressure....you will feel the difference in the seat of your pants.  ;)

Also what effect on timing changes, this will be interesting on long sustained cruise MPG.  :scratchchin:

It liked more timing than before.  We took it to 38*.  Before it would lose power above 34*.

I'm interested in this topic and went with 9 to 1 speed pros for my 440 with 346 heads for a daily driver (after living with a 509 cam and closed chamber heads octane requirements  :eek2: ) I'm running 89 octane OK so far.  :2thumbs:

I probably could have run 89 with the aluminum heads before upping the CR, but I never tried it.  I also had the 346 heads with around 9.2 CR before the swap.  It would ping like mad with anything above 36* advance or even less on a hot day.  Bob
