Power Tour 2010

I know I was talking to some folks today about the Hot Rod Power Tour and the intended route.  Well, this is what they've posted on the HRPT website:

June 5, 2010 Newton, IA (Iowa Speedway)
June 6, 2010 Springfield, IL (Downtown)
June 7, 2010 Effingham, IL (Mid America Motor Works - Lunch Stop)
June 7, 2010 Du Quoin, IL (fairgrounds or downtown?) small town!
June 8, 2010 Bowling Greeen, IL (TBA)
June 9, 2010 Chattanooga, TN (TBA)
June 10, 2010 Birmingham, AL (TBA)
June 11, 2010 Mobile, AL (will announce in December - live)   

Frankly it looks a little on the boring side compared to some tours in the past, but it's like heroin (or so I'd have to imagine) - an addiction.  So maybe I'll get to come back down next summer and see what changes Tim makes to the museum.

Well, there goes part of my summer plan. That's the same week as the Winged Warriors National Meet in Branson.

And, the August Branson Super Summer Cruise has been moved back to the same weekend as the Mopar Nats so my schedule is totally screwed.

I had big plans of making the Power Tour next year in the new (to me) Superbird.
