Hi I haven't posted much on this forum, yet, but my rear tire/wheel combo is:

345/30 ZR 19 Michellin Pilot PS2
Wheel: Budnik 19x 13
wWe widened the tubs up to the frame rail, about 3in. Std diff width flange to flange. wheels & tires fit great, not a lot of clearance but do not rub.

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

What brake kits is that on your front?

Big wheels with big rubber.  I don't think I've ever seen rubber that big, impressive.  Most of the time people put super small rubber on so it looks like rubber bands over the wheels.  Now that look I don't care for.

I'd really like to see some profile pix of your ride.   :2thumbs:

i agree. i dont really care for the "chip foose dub" look. it just does not look right on old muscle cars. when i see our old  cars that look like the whole chip foose catalog was thrown at it, i just..   :rotz:  but then again i'm old school too...

I also agree but to me 40's are not enough I have a set of 17's still in the boxes. On the back, I have a 275/55/17 and on the front, a 235/50/17 what I would really like, is a 18 on the back but I would still have a 50 sidewall on it I might go to 45 (on the 18) but that would be the limit.

May be a dumb question but will 15x10s work on the front of a 69 charger?

Shopping for wheels can get confusing. Within reason, if you find a car who's wheels you like that has the same  as yours , you can save a lot of headache and use the same size...within reason.  There will be some variations as they aren't all made perfectly the same.  Unless the rims you like are really pushing the envelope of fitment, you should be ok.

I'm looking for new wheels and I learned the hard way.  I knew what backspace was, but had no idea that an inch or so would be huge.  I ended up selling a set of wheels for a loss because the backspace was all wrong (the look was wrong too)  When you look for wheels, the different terms get you also.  Offset vs. Backspace.  Here is a pic that may help, plus a chart from a great website I found that actually lists offset vs. backspace for different width wheels.

Love the look in this picture! So what rims are you using and tire sizes on this one?

Not in a stock layout with stock suspension, fenders, and fenderwells.

what tire size are you running there?

The rims are V-48's from Wheel Vintiques. Tires are Kumhos  :eek2:  245 45 17 and 275 40 17. I'll probably run the Nitto 555r on some 18" for the Charger, they make 275 50's and 305 50's.

What brake kits is that on your front?

I used wilwood hubs with coleman rotors and US Brake calipers and made my own adapters.  I, too, hate the rubber band look.  That's why I went with the "rolled" lip and powder coated the rim black to make it look like more sidewall.  Mike

I'm running  'plain steelies' 7 x 15 wheels in front and 10 x 15 in back. no problems. stock offset...and I have ssb discs set up on all 4.  got my wheels from wheels vintiques.

I will be going to a larger diameter tire ..probably Hoosier 295/60D/15s in the rear. right now ts a 295/50/15

This is a great look! I really like your setup with the  OE chrysler steel wheels. I guess you have 5,5'' backspace on the rear rims. If that is "stock offset"? Am I right??

But what backspacing is it on the 7 x 15s in the front? And do you think you can fit 8 x 15s up front??
Thanks
