Heres some pics of the frame under the car some of you were asking how the front of the frame was connected to the car so here they are, I still need to redo the inner fenderwells in these pics, I was going to do this over fall break but I decided I should get the engine in the car with the headers and steering so I could make sure I wouldn't have any clearence issues. I forgot to take my camera today when I went home so i really don't have any new pics...

Man you've got some b.o.s. to take on that project, very cool to see it being saved in such a cool way.

Ok so I have to ask and I hope you do not mind. That frame that I found on ebay is the same one you are using. That auction only ended at $1,009. I asked the seller what his reserve was. He responded saying that a roller starts at $16k. What did yours cost?

Well... I've been buying the parts one at a time for the most part just when I can afford them. I bought everything in bare metal, that saved alot, I think that price is for the whole thing already with powdercoated parts and all put together, also I think it has gone up since I got mine. This stuff really is quality parts, If you are intrested they will send you a parts list and the price of them...

speedfreak68

for instance heres a pic of the spindle that they put together... if I break this Ive got some serious issues...

also they use all willwood products

speedfreak68

hey guys, this last weekend a friend and I went home and installed my passenger side quarterpanel I didn't take very many pics of it, heres the best one that I got.

Over thanksgiving break I got some things accomplished. I was tired of seeing the charger setting on jackstands and I needed some motivation so I decided to put the front suspension together. I had a picture of how it was supposto look so I started bolting parts on. The only snags that I ran into is when I switched 2 of the balljoints around and my spindle wouldn't bolt on, but I figgured that out. Heres a couple pics of the front suspension..

I didn't put the rotors on because I wanted to put some tires on it and the only wheels that I had in the right bolt pattern were 14's so they wouldn't clear..

a friend and I then put on the rearend up underneath the car and since my coilovers haddn't arrived yet I went to the store and bought some conduit and hammered the ends shut, drilled some holes and viola, coilovers...without the coils...or the shocks. we pushed it outside and I had to take some pics of it. Here they are.

Then today we decided to hang one of the front fenders on the car to see what it was going to look like...just prior to putting it back up on jack stands  :'(

I assume you are talking about the backs. They are a 17x10.5 rim that I got from Amarican muscle. Basicly a rim for the 94-04 mustang, they are just a torque thrust style rim. the fronts are just the rims that came on the car when I got it.

So far my plan is the BMW sterling grey with one flat black stripe running all the way up and over the car, About the same scheme as the roadrunner that was built by purevision. My other thought was a maroon with the same flat black stripe... I keep bounceing between those two...but I have time to decide that...

HITMAN 149

yea i love the BMW gray color... im actually lookin for a 01 740I sport in that gray or the silver!!!
keeep us posted on the progress & the good work!!!!!!

what size tires do you have the rear right now?
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.
