Pretty damn good.  And, finally, FINALLY, a realistic racing game includes a 69 HEMI Daytona.

Besides the usual modern performance/supercars, Mopars in the game include:

69 Charger R/T 440
68 Barracuda Formula S 383
70 Challenger R/T HEMI
08 Challenger SRT-8
07 Charger SRT-8
A couple of Vipers
And, the aforementioned 69 Daytona HEMI.

Currently, I'm racing a 68 Barracuda, eagerly saving up to purchase the Daytona...

Forza's tuning and painting is more in-depth than GT4's was.  Much more, in the case of painting.

I finally have a Daytona, after 3 days of racing.

Also, a nice, artsy photo of my Barracuda during a race.

Looks good. How does it SOUND?

it might be the first official inclusion, but i had an added-in daytona (ie mod) for old Sports car GT and Need for Speed 3 way back in the 90's.

TheGhost

It sounds like a 426 HEMI.  Turn 10 actually went out and recorded how all the engines they have in Forza 3 sound during racing situations.  It's awesome!

I looked at it last night at Target for $59, but I want something for my car more, so I guess it can wait

TruckDriver

Looks good. I bought Forza 2 and still never played it any other then looking at the cars in it. I'm going to play it soon though, and see how I like the game. If I like it, then I'll get #3. Is there any damage to the cars if you crash?

Oh yea.  In fact, about 5 minutes ago, I just flipped the Daytona. :icon_smile_blackeye:  I took a nice picture of the car in mid-air that I'll post here as soon as I can.  Forza's website seems to be having troubles right now. :-\

Its got to be better than GT 4 sound affects. GT4 had the v8's sounding like v6's in many cases. They were not very realistic when it came to acceleration either. If the car spun at all it wouldn't stop period! I've been driving way to much horsepower on the street for years and never ran into that situation.

TheGhost

Hitting a corner when traveling at over 100 mph is not a very good thing to do...

It's all good.  I had some JB weld in my glovebox.

That's not how you make a C500! If you don't want the wing then just take it off! :smilielol:

I made Mr. Angry on Need for Speed Carbon (well as close as I could get it! ;)). I also made Jackie's Challenger and Hemidoug's '69 Hemi R/T on Need for Speed Pro-Street.

FJ5WING

what class was that race in?
all the other cars seem to be unmodded street cars and are keeping up with the stickered up (race tuned?) Daytona. :shruggy:
wingless now, but still around.

TheGhost

I believe that was at B class.  The Daytona at that time was mostly stock, except for the tires and springs.  It also didn't help that about 30 seconds before that clip began, I clipped the wall exiting a corner and spun myself around 360 degrees.

Right now, the Daytona is at A class, and kicking alot of ass.

TruckDriver

Just curious, but what are some of the other muscle cars in the game (all makes pre-1980). I know Forza 2 has a '69 GTO in it and a few others.
