Not sure how many are into Drag Racing....figured there must be quite a few....
If you are looking for a very good book to read,,,,,check this out...

Title: Bracket Racing (Getting started/rules and regulations/chassis setup/driving technique/winning strategies/engine setup/safety)
Author: Tony Sakkis

I bought it yesterday,,,and have already read it cover to cover..... :yesnod:

It covers everything you would want to know,,,from basics to advanced stuff  :METAL:

Considering you have a mid 11 sec Charger I take it the book is well worth the money for the info inside.

A book on good nutrition would help....might keep racers from getting dizzy after hard launches.  :nana: :icon_smile_big:

Greenpigs,,,,,I thought the book was very helpful,,,,even if someone had a 15sec car,,,,it goes over technique, driving, theory,,etc,,,,I am always looking for info on this,,,,I usually ask lots of questions at the track to see what some of the other racers are doing....

The Charger runs mid 11's,,,,,,and the Belvedere I have runs mid 10's,,,,the difference between the two cars is very noticable,,,,the Belvedere really HITS hard,,,,and is setup well for the strip. ;)

The Belvedere is now the strip only car (caged/tubbed/slicks/etc),,,,,and the Charger will be used for mostly street and occasional strip use.....

Ron,,,,,,lol,,,,next time,,,no sharing my personal "issues" lol  :icon_smile_big: ,,,,,,providing the Car was incontinent on the line,,,and not me,,,,i might be OK,,,,but will have to bring some Depends next time...lol...just in case i pass out and water the track down........  :icon_smile_blackeye:

WOW!

I didn't think this was that old of a subject. I just ordered a copy and my hopes are to learn enough to not embarrass myself whenever I decided to take a trip down the 1320. Plus it may lower the questions I have for Ron & others.
