Seatback with or without staples?

I have seen that my old seatbacks have the hooks and bracket attached with staples, is there any other way? I can't imagine finding a machine going thru metal. :eek2: Would gluing them be enough? :scratchchin:

My seat backs are plastic (70)  :shruggy: I think if you check Bill440RT's posts he did a topic on his seats or maybe in "interior" awhile ago.

Just use rivets.  That is how mine are attached.

Not sure what type they are, but they are some sort of a flat rivet witht the flat side facing out and the other on the inside.

hmmm yeah i know what you mean luckly mine were ok ! ,  cant recall now exactly what look like but could use a tiny rivet  :scratchchin:
