Mopar Nats........Whos going?

Not usre yet if I will bring Ole Red, but its a possibility. Whos bringing their ride?

Troy, if you spot my wreck in the fun field (it'll be over near the swap meet someplace) stop by for a beer on Saturday afternoon.  471 Magnum will be there too.  We generally do a BBQ on Saturday afternoon.

Magnum and I (and some other friends) usually go to the Hooters on Friday night.  It's a packed (stacked???) house but we have a good time.

It looks like I'm going to have my 11yo son with me. I love Hooter's don't get me wrong. I'm just not sure that Hooters on a friday night would be a good idea for me.  Surely we could all meet somewhere say on Saturday. Someplace a little more family oriented.

Saturday night I always have a steak with a handful of people that I see each year at the Nats.  It's become a kind of tradition and anyone is welcome but for me personally, it's pretty set.

Not so.  A few years ago, one of the regulars brought his son who would have been around ten at the time.  Try and make the Saturday afternoon show.

I'm going! Planning on leaving early Friday morning, go to the show Friday and Saturday, leave Sat 6:00 and go home.   Hotels are expensive.   I am considering camping??   I'll be driving this!

 How about breakfast either Saturday or Sunday morning? I'm not that familiar with Columbus. Maybe someone could suggest a place. If you guys are set on Hooters Saturday night that's fine. I would love to go to Hooters and i'm sure my son would too. Unfortunately he has a problem keeping secrets from his mom.

The funny thing is, on Saturday night at that Hooters the entire place is full of Mopar folks and a fair number of them are families.  Some of us are just there to be dirty old men but some of us are just there to have a good time and eat wings.

Well I didn't pre-register as I wasn't sure I was going but now I think I am for a couple days.  I will enter the show as long as I can pay at the gate.  We'll hook up I'm sure!!
