We just had a cruise Friday before Fall Fling. They met at Woodley Park and drove to the Rock Store, PCH, then lunch at Dukes on the ocean. Had 10 cars.

We will have the same deal for Spring Fling on Friday, April 16, 2010. Will have 15-20 cars for that.

There's another caravan from Seaside for the Bay area folks. That had an awesome turnout. Here are some great vidoes of that:

Could always meet up in the middle of the state - caravan the so cal guys up and the nor cal guys down to somewhere near the center of the state...     Maybe somewhere like San Luis Obispo - it is 3:25 minutes from Orange County and 3:40 minutes from San Francisco     just an idea- would like to see who is actually down to do something - then decide where

The CA  Oldsmobile car clubs have an joint annual show mid-state for the same reason.

Typically, it's held in May around the San Luis Obispo/Morro Bay/Cambria area.

Nice locale, good times...

The license plates that came on my 68 say Sunnyvale Dodge!

Santa Clarita, CA. I'm in LA all the time for work.
I'm *hypothetically* a month out on having my charger rolling. More realistically December with school and work. Would love to do a long distance cruise!

Keep those plates... :2thumbs:  Sunnyvale Dodge was one of the victims of the wholesale Dodge Dealership closures and is no more. I may go by a snap a pic of the deserted lot for posterity.  :'(

Elk Grove CA just South of Sacramento.

I don't know what january will bring and some time this winter I need to pull my Steering Wheel and have it restored. But keep us posted on the place and time.

I'm in the Mother Lode, Sonora, an hour north of Yosemite and two and half hours south of Tahoe. Several guys on the moparts forum, from Santa Cruz and Livermore, talked about a cruise of Highway 49, Yosemite to the wine country in El Dorado, this past summer. I couldn't join and don't know if it ever happened.

I'll keep watching, am interested, but of course it's about timing around work and family.

PS.... I lived in San Luis Obispo area for many years. It is great cruising, tons of roads and locations and events to tie in with. It would be about as central a place as could be found and lots of fun (sorry Bakersfield you lose).

Not to mention the Poly Dollies as attractions to not be missed.

I went to school there for 4 years (mechanical engineering degree). Beautiful country. I have relatives in Arroyo Grande so it is a no brainer as far as a destination. The coeds were/are simply stunning (wife # 1 was selected there) at Cal Poly.    :2thumbs:

My car can't make it past 1 mile away from my house before using 25% of its fuel (it's not tuned right) or it starts to overheat.  :brickwall:

I plan taking off the blower just so that I can go on little adventures like the one you're organizing.

I live in Riverside by the way.

I'm in San Dimas and would be interested in meeting up for a cruise.
