have the dash stripped of parts. should i soda blast it? or what other media?

I had mine sandblasted because it was very rusted on the inside.

how smooth did it come out?i thought sand was a little agressive.

Actually very nice, just some primer and light sanding and it should be ready for paint. I guess use of fine sand is requaierd.
