6-blade or 8-blade?

Hi,
Will buy a new aluminum housing for my 520 (have the iron housing in my combo right now). Will buy the MP housing I think but what water pump should I go for. Have use the milodon before but thinking of one of the MP, 6-blade or 8-blade...

Have a re-cored radiator and aluminum heads.

The drive ratio of your pulleys will determine which pump to use, if the pulley ratio is close to 1-1 the 8-vane pump is what you want. If a smaller WP pulley is used the 6-vane is better.

Okey, Thanks. I have a one groove drive. Just water pump and crank pulley then the generator. If the crank and water pump pulley is the same size I would choose the 8-vane then, or?
Have "almost" purchased the HV milodon water pump, hope that will do.
