I can't remember If I saw this in the past, but  :puke:

I like the paint scheme idea ( not my taste but not bad, is nice ), I like the mechanichs, I like the engine bay ( that IS STUNNING  :o ), but I can't stand the dash/cluster, front end look, chopped roof, and speakers instead a back seat

Interior can be done THOUSANDS TIMES BETTER ( Extreme Lee is one example specially at dash )

win all the awards you want but sorry, I can't be agree.

But it is impressive how the car can do 360 degree turns all day long! :smilielol: I'm dizzy just watching.  :D

I seem to have seen this one at 179k, now it's 199k. Interesting strategy, raise the price if you can't sell it.

Best of show have a lot of wonderful cars, but not this one, it´s been on Ebay for ages, and I can´t see it selling anytime soon, it´s one of those custom cars that the owner does wathever it is to satisfy his dirty mind, but the end result is so out there that even the owner got sick of it after some point, the 68-70 Charger are the best designed cars ever made, so don´t mess with perfection, it´s one thing to add different wheels or hood scoops, but this, it´s just plain wrong, and if you look at the car right, it kinda looks like a Camaro  :eek2: :puke:

tan top

aweome work gone into that car , clever stuff  :coolgleamA:   but wrecked one of  the best looking body styles on the planet  :yesnod: why   :slap: :shruggy:

WHY for the love of god why?   :slap: :rotz:

That could have been done much more tasteful.. what did they do to that front end, and what happened to the mid-body line..... I mean there should be a line there.... its not a camero/firebird... you can hardly notice.....

richRTSE

I like the front seats, and um......that's about it. It would be interesting to see it next to another '68 to just see how much they changed it...almost 2 feet shorter, and a 4" lower roof than stock, it's got to look pretty funny.  It looks like high quality work but... :eek2:

Can't stand that car....it's ugly as hell. The shortened nose and one headlight on each side....:puke:

It's not the first time someone has spent hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars screwing something up. Remember Michael Jackson's face? Anyway, I've seen that car for sale probably five times. You know how when you really love something you don't ever want to sell it? What's that tell you about this thing? They can't sell it and no one wants to buy it.

God, I just got done watching the clip, man who ever built that poor thing really really needs there dang head look at and check out big time  :brickwall: :brickwall:. That car looks down right awful now, what is the big idea of removinging the front bumper? that grill looks like a dang dart grill or a duster grill. Someone please find the person that did this to that car and walk them off a very high cliff. That car went front being a good looking car to an awful looking car  :eek2:, Well the voice was right about one thing, who can miss this car  ::)  :eek2:.  Just about the only thing that looks good on that car is the paint scheme now.

Hey Nacho that is exactly the model of Dart I have, it´s a 1974 Dodge Dart Deluxe.  :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Nacho-RT74

GREEEAT!!! I like a lot that front end more than the originals 67/69 USA Darts! ( but not more than the 70/72s USA Darts :D )

Is something just like the 71/72 RRs grille shape.

( but not on THIS CUSTOM CHARGER LOL )

Same basic comments on this heap as a couple years ago when it was "new" and out at the Nats in 07.     I don't think anybody likes the look that I remember.   Rick E. drove it around at the Nats and pretty much said it sucked.

First car: uuuh, well... Nice craftsmanship, or something.... You can throw a lot of money at anything, but you can obviously not buy taste.
Second car: Wonderful little touches everywhere (although as usual I'm disagreeing with the rims) and that side exhaust is just BADASS!

Stu, that at least looks like a charger....  seems they added abit all around to the bottom of the car.... seeing how that exhaust exits....could you tell in person, just look that way in the photo?

I dont know if it was because it was lowered and so low or not , but it did look like the rocker area was wider.

You know, after thinking on this, why does people take good looking old cars and chop the crap out of them and lower then to make them look down right stupid or ugly  for?

The cars was built with a good frame and all from the factory for a reason, why be stupid anmd lower the dang things and chop them for. They sure as heck don't look cool and it also ruins the car looks also. If your going to lower the thing why not just take and set the dang vehicle down on the ground and be done with it because with ity lowered it's almost on the ground anyways  ::)

mikesbbody

The First Charger nearly all of us agree is a F..K UP you just dont mess with a 68 like that.
The second Charger is much, much better the only things I didnt like were the wheels
(A bit TOO big and side walls too low) and the shifter looks weird other than that, it's a
Nice looking Charger IMO. I still wouldnt have gone that route though...

Mike DC

The lowering trend already went way too far a long time ago.   :Twocents:

Does this black Plymouth really look any less absurd than the purple Olds below it?

I don't see why the hot rodding community admires one of these extremities and ridicules the other.  They're both just mechanically-challenging displays of goofiness that are done purely for their own sake.

danoworld

Kind of looks like a dart to me. Not that thats a bad thing...but it aint a Charger anymore.... :shruggy:

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

Landonsrt

I agree.. That front end looks like CRAP! Only two headlights?? Looks like a mustang from a distance. And, if your going to shave off the bumpers!!!! Why do you leave the opening for the front bumper and not weld in some metal and hide the original fit?!?!?!? SMOOTH IT OUT!! Who the hell cares where the leather came from?

Mike DC

As for the black & gold Charger, I think the mods were potentially a decent idea but they were taken too far in every case.

Imagine doing all the same mods, but removing only 1/2 or 1/3rd the amount of inches from each chop . . . might look much better IMHO.
