Definately, not the "Hillbilly Plywood Factory" that we've seen many times on other 'clones'.   :icon_smile_big:

ford twist lock hood hold downs funky scoops and that wing? used to be a company that built cars like that-AMC :eek2: I like the nose though. I think a short flat wing from a firebird would look beter. just my  :Twocents:

Those hood scoops look like trash (look at the close up pics). Should have done a better job. Overall the car looks cool and he did great work...but why skimp on some things? I hate that.

to start out and make a complete new car for a newer style daytona would be a major task. I think that this is just an attempt to do something cool while not getting to serious.  and I will bet that it could be sold to the younger generation as a kit.

If you really did want to make a new daytona only the factory can really do that.    but it has to be made on a base model that can accomodate the parts.  I like most of you are in the old  school and are biased.   but overall it is cool to go to a show and see something like this.

I wonder how long it will be until we see the kit available for all the younger kids to atart converting their challengers.

That little kick up behind the window needs to go, looks to cam--o ish to me, but dang, that thing is cool, I'd drive it.

Daytona R/T SE

They need to figure out what they're building here  ::)

It's a Challenger body.

With a Superbird style nose...(Note the headlight blackouts and the grille)

With a big honking "DAYTONA" plastered across the quarter panel  :scratchchin:

Based on their lack of direction in this project,

I'd guess it's probably got a small block Chevy under the hood, too. :eek2:

nakita7

I agree. I like it to be honest, but it is a bit of a 'mutt' isn't it?
