I'm stumped

I'm installing the 5.7 crate engine in my Challenger and it came with a supplied wiring harness and ecm. I'm using a stock alt from a 2005 ram truck (which it recommends).  The harness supplied has the proper plug for the alt. and I'm told that the ecm will control the voltage.
One of the instuction booklets says that i can use a voltage reg.#P4529794 to the alt.

All the pics of these installs show a voltage regulator mounted to the firewall and wired up. (I don't know if they are using the mopar ECM)

can anybody tell me if I have to install a voltage regulator or just wire it with the supplied harness??

Wire it with the supplied harness - the EMS controlls all the voltage regulation    :2thumbs:
