No, the silver will stay on the paint and you will just pull off a clear decal. They do that for a reason. I'm sure someone repop's them though. I'm sure someone here knows who.

Damn.

I know they repop them. I dont mind loosing mine i just have a bunch of metal (including doors) from a parts car...figured it would be nice to include the sticker when i make a scrap book of the build.

Daytona R/T SE

In the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" They remove this sticker from a Challenger.

They heated the metal from behind with a light bulb, if I remember correctly.

Yeah I remember that now but that Challenger was almost new at the time.

That's what I did. I just documented It was on there. Now I need to get one also. Mine wasn't that good looking or I would have taped it off and kept it.

hmmmm....i was successful in removing one with a heat gun before....gotta heat it up enough to turn the glue to almost a liquid.....but....id just get a repop if funds allow...Be careful pulling with the heat gun  because the decal can stretch so dont put too much pulling pressure on it...go slow

twodko

Try the heater gun first but be careful not to burn the label. Get yourself a repop too. Good luck.

Try a rag with wax and grease remover. Just put it on there and let it sit a while. It will soften glue and should be able to easily pull it off.

I just bought one off of Ebay a little bit ago. They had alot of different years and you just went thru and matched up to your old one. Was only 6 or 7 dollars. Looks great.

Whoever painted my Duster decided to paint right over that decal ::)
