Was something of a crazy day yesterday.

Thanks to landbc for saving my car from getting damaged when a security barior that had a MATS bannor zip tied to it went flying because of the wind.  The trailer was not as fortuante and took damage.  Later in the day another on went was blown over into a white Cuda. I did not see much damage, he was lucky.

Vegas Mike made his the first trip in his car and it did well considering all of the scrambling leading up to it.

Met a few more members from the site, I hope they chime in to share thier day.

Wade and I spotted Cody yeasterday too.  He was taking lots of pictures of the cars. Also met his mom, very nice lady. I still got your stuff Cody don't worry we will set up a time for you to pic it up.

I would like to get a group shot of the members today so if you read this and Vegas Mike does not have a run at this time I would like to shoot for 11AM. Meet at my Charger.  Im in the fun field car show and should be on the end of the row again today.

I have lots of pics and will be taking more but I do not have the time to deal with them yet.  Tonight I am going to the cannery hotel to check out the live music.  BlacDog is here too and I'm hoping to hook up with him today .

back to the track

Great day at the show today. It was a bit chilly at first but it got better. Shame to see the tranny go on Mike's Coronet....but I'm glad we got it on the trailer. Lots of great racing action today and I managed to get some good stuff in the swap meet. Also got to ride in Hotchkis' '70 Challenger T/A on the autocross course. That one 40 second ride proved their products to me! Got LOTS of pictures and some videos.

...Shame to see the tranny go on Mike's Coronet....

The same one he bought at last years MATS? Damn, that is too bad.

So where are the stories? Who is going to step forward and talk? You do realize that the Las Vegas Speedway is really outside the city limits, right?

I have a bunch of the wife and her friends...but she wont let me post them here.  :D

went to the show on saturday. I wanted to meet everyone, but the fakkakte DodgeCharger.com banner was nowhere to be found. Did run into Neil (Chryco), found Chuck and his car, saw Steve's car but no Steve, and hung out with Cody for a bit at the autox course - I gotta stop ragging on the kid, he's getting big and by next year could kick my ass.

The autox was bomb.com....Hotchkis did an awesome job of setting that whole thing up. I even took the 08 Charger for a couple of laps, with hilarious results. I'll have pics and videos up soon

Awesome...I'm gonna have to steal some of these for my facebook album. You should have come up to me when you took those pictures...I'd have let you take it for a spin. By the time you came over to say what's up they'd already stopped the autox (except for the ridealongs).

Next year if you go I'll take you up on that offer. I'm hoping to bring the Duster next year which means I might have to do some suspension upgrading :D

I know I definitely will do some upgrades on the 08 by next year - either an SRT8 suspension or some of the Hotchkis stuff. Wish I could have been more aggressive, but my tires are getting up there in age and I needed the car to be able to make the drive back to L.A.  :icon_smile_big:
