I hope everyone can change their plans...  Airfare was pretty high when checked today. Maybe in a month or so it will come down. Then again, maybe we should book before the airlines get wind of the change. I don't think anything else big is going on out there then...  :shruggy:

It's too early for me to buy flight tickets as they are double the price that is shown through January. I'll wait...

If we are able to go....we will drive the ugly purple pointy nosed car down....but again, too early to commit right now

ChgrSteve67

You should still make your hotel reservation.

You can always cancel it a week or so before the event if you can't make it, otherwise your going to be sleepinging in your car.

Or on the floor of my hotel room.

mauve66

i wont be in this house (have to be out by end of Jan) anymore and might not even have a garage so dont think of sleeping here

Looks like they have the sign up form for 2010 posted.

From what I can understand its $50 to enter ones car in the show for the weekend which includes the driver.
Each passenger "Weekend Admission Event Participant " is another $60 for the event.

Is everyone that is taking thier Charge entering it in the  Car Show - Judged "Vintage" catagory?

Since I have not gone before I'm not fimular with how this is run or laid out.

I could not find anything about having a trailer behind ones car and no contact information to ask questions.
I tried the "Contact Us" on the purchase site but never got a responce to my inquery.

Of course for me actually calling them is always treated as a last resort.

mauve66

in the past if you paid really early they would send you 2 tickets instead of 1, or maybe they just liked me??
if you want to display the trailer with the car??
are you moving the trailer every day when you go back to the hotel??
what are your plans??

We will be in the "fun field" class.   But your car Steve,   :drool5:   You just might want to enter in the judged car show.   :2thumbs:

Chuck,
I'm more interested in parking together as a group.
From the map it looks like they seperate the different car shows.

Robert,
I don't plan on disconnecting my trailier from my Charger.

Dans 68

Steve,

I've attached a marked-up photo from last years MATS showing the "fun field" class location. It is directly next to the center light pole, adjacent to the access road, and should be fine (2-rows deep) for parking your rig. I would find out if they will charge you for the trailer.  :scratchchin:  :P
