(She has me on a short leash)

Now I slowly start to understand why you wrote this  :icon_smile_big:

Too bad I don't have a Mopar in Vegas like last year. Maybe with some extra $ I can bring home some nice parts.
We'll see :scratchchin:

RECHRGD

There's a slight chance the Al Merkel (member here but rarely posts) and I may do a road trip down there for the festivities.  It's a long haul in the Chargers and the weather can be pretty iffy that time of year.  BUT, Chuck you still owe me a scotch for that gauge I sent you and that may be the only way I can get you to pay up!   Bob

Wife has said I can go.  :2thumbs:
I will talk with my Brother in law this weekend to see if he wants to ride along.

The Mopars at the strip web site does not look like it has been updated for the 2010 event yet other than the announcement of the date.

When is a good time to book a room and where is everyone staying?
Since I have a trailer I will need a place that will accommodate for trailers and not be out of sight.
Also a fairly inexpensive room is also prefered since I don't plan on spending much time in it.

Steve

Steve P.

Hey Steve, NOW is the time to get a room. I don't know where to tell you to try as they book up quickly. I know many people trailer in their cars and stay in their trailers right at the track. Ron and I stay at the VEGASMIKE SLEEP EASY, but I know it's booked up...  :D  Maybe bring an air mattress and stay in the trailer. I think I heard something about us staying in one at the track this year as well... Bring blankets if you're thinking about camping there. It gets a bit chilly once the sun goes down there in March...

Glad to hear it! As far as where to stay, I've heard Chuck and Mike are planning accommodations out at the MATS site (motorhomes?). That would be a unique experience. I can always bring a tent and my very warm sleeping bag (and propane heater).

So Chuck, Mike, what are your plans for MATS? We foureners (sic) need to make travel accommodations pretty quickly here.

I don't have a good working acoustic. I was thinking along the lines of bringing my Jackson Flying V and a little pocket Marshall amp that isn't very loud. That way if somebody decides to bring an acoustic, I can play without being drowned out :2thumbs:
