TeamRoth is coming,  68coronetglwannabe is coming, VegasMike will be there and a few others...   This could be the best turnout of DC.com members in history.   The list will grow.   :yesnod:    I figure if we get 30 or so members, it will be one hell of a party.   Or a really big fight.   :boxing_smiley:    Still a must see event.    :2thumbs:

Getting the time off is not a problem.

Here is the problem......
My wife is a tax preparer and middle of Feburary through the middle of April she is slammed with tax returns and works almost every day.
When I mentined this to her she was not happy to hear the dates.

Going by myself is an option however she would be mad for a long long time. (She has me on a short leash)

I will need to work on the timing and may have to have the wife fly in for the day or two.
The event starts on a Friday so when is the caravan planning on meeting in Button Willow and leaving for LV?

Steve (really want to go)

I will be there. The Charger might not make it, but still working on that!!! My buddy will be there is his 69 Superbee that he just got!! So at least we will be in a mopar!!

Steve,

Normally the caravan from Los Angeles meets at the Barstow Flying J Gas station around noonish on that Thursday. We'll get more details on the MATS website as the date approaches. So, we can meet a few hours earlier in Button Willow.

Steve, I guess I don't count as a "chaperone", hmm? She does not know me well enough to ensure your safe return?

That's ok, just tell your wife this.   If you really don't trust me that's ok, we can hire a "professional chaperon" for me in Vegas.    :icon_smile_big:   You see Steve, Vegas is full of "Professional Chaperone's" that will do what ever you want.    :drool5:

I think the list of approved chaparones is very short and restricted to family members on her side of the family.

I'm glad she does not visit this board or I would be sleeping on the couch already.

I'm know she is just more concerned about my safety than me doing something inapropriate. There is the fish tail incident on the bay bridge that first comes to mind. not that I would be doing that with a trailier behind my Charger.

With my Diabetes drinking isn't an issue anymore, there is no one for me but my wife, after finishing the car I don't have any money left to gamble away, pink slip is in the bank, so after all of that there is not much trouble left to get into.

My brother in law is a cool dude so it would be fun to take him along.
Plus he can pay for half of the hotel rooms.
I will be seeing him in the next few weeks so we can talk it over.

Steve

WOW, Steve,,, I think you might have the wrong impression of a few of us...  :D
