Can someone tell me what works to loosen the lock collars on the radio ant. base and the remote mirror control on the driver's door pannel? Thanks.

Tom,
Not correct but I used a pair of needle nose pliers inside a rag and used the tips to place in the detents to loosen and tighten. It left no marks and was able to tighten them up pretty good.  :Twocents:

When using needlenosed pliers to do this job, I cut a hole in a thick piece of cardboard and tape it around the antenna "just in case" the pliers slip out of the slots.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
