I'm going to my current and soon to be former boss's house to see his cars tomorrow, the 28th.     Rumor has it that he has 32 cars total, but the only Mopars are the two mentioned above plus a 71 440 car.   Let me know if anybody needs any pictures of anything specific.   If not, you'll have to settle for what I get.     Later.

I'm always on the lookout for 71 Charger pics.  :)

Dave, I wouldn't mind 50-100 pictures of the '70 Charger . But seriously, anything you can send me about the car would be great.

Thanks, Chris  :2thumbs:

RT DAVE

He claims the 70 is one of only two Sublime Hemi Cars.  It's a four speed and it has the HEMI hood call outs also.   I'll send evidence that it exists tomorrow.  I'm not sure if photography is Kosher, but I assume it will be.   Later.

A Limegreen Charger with Hood call outs that would be a great looking ride.

Post pics if you were able to take some.

Would love to have pics of both cars!! please email me the full size photos.  Thanks in advance.  CARL

I'm still searching for any picturesof blue 71's with white vinyl tops.

I'm about to get a new white top for mine, and just want to make sure they look good with blue cars.

Damn straight! ;D

Those are some great looking cars, that's one lucky guy! Does he drive them much?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

RT DAVE

If anyone needs to know they are not for sale.     I posted the pics for your viewing enjoyment but will not give out the owners info to anybody.   Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just wanting to let everybody know before you ask.     I guess somebody offered him $200k for the sublime car this spring summer and he refused.     Sorry about that.

Oh, yeah, I got dibs on the 440 car!  Just kidding.    ;)

I have more pics but I'm too lazy right now to airbrush his license plate #'s off the cars.   The red thing behind the car is a SUN diagnostic center.  I don't much about it but he was too busy with the rest of the guys to answer my questions about it.   I'll send you pics of the others after I get the others modified to my liking.  Take care...

Why is it that every Survivor HEMI 71 charger R/T I have seen over the years is blue. Something about those blue cars people didn't want to drive them or what?

It's weird, mine is also B7 blue and only has 46,000 miles on it.  In my life, though, I have never seen another 71 hemi charger in person.  I did see a 71 hemi GTX once but that is it.  It's also weird that I don't want to drive it much anymore (as the prices go to the moon).  I only did two shows this summer.  Kim

Add this to the list of blue '71 Hemi survivors...unless it is one of the above. The picture is not the best and it is from Monster Mopar Weekend in 2003.

Well I'll have to do some digging, but I know I have some shots of the survivor 71 HEMI Charger R/T that was at the Mopars at the Strip from this year's show. B5 blue, black vinyl top.

Don't you have some VIDEO of that car too?  BTW, it's very nice!!!

69_500

Yeah I know I have video of the car. I know we put the interview with Jerry on the Mopars at the Strip DVD we have. But I don't recall how many still photo's we got of the car.

Interesting story on that car, was that it was used as a drag car, and they had actually cut the vinyl top in a few places when sliding the hood up there. They were using a fiberglass hood to race the car, it now wears it origional hood, as well as paint, and vinyl top. The tears are small and barely noticeable.
