How much does a manual box weight? what about power steering?

I've removed a couple power steering boxes and they have some mass.  You don't want to lose control of them for sure...maybe 40 lbs.  :shruggy:

I remember that one of the steering box rebuilders had the shipping weight of a PS box at 41 pounds.  (Good guess, troutstreamm!)

The manual box is both smaller and also made of aluminum.  I think it comes in at 24 pounds or something like that.
