Are there any publications or books i can purchase that deal with the restoration of the 1'st generation Charger?

Troy, can we have a LIBRARY link on the new site as well?

Let me find the info and cut and paste it here...I'm tired of retyping it all (not your fault). Hang on...

Dude, I said it wasn't your fault...c'mon. I just think it would be nice if we had a section set up for resources, then we could point everyone there. I'm more than glad to help...it's just kind of hard to remember whicj author goes with which book or the exact names of the books, and I don't want to give you halfassed info. K?

We do have something for helping people find things on this site - SEARCH & ADVANCED SEARCH.

Try searching numerous keywords if you have to.

It can be helpful but doesn't always answer the question or info you are looking for.

I couldn't find any 1G resto books for my dad.  Best I could do ws get him the shop manual for a 67 Charger
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

Books are nice, but each only really give that particular persons ways of doing things. You may find that other ways of doing things are easier to grasp. In my experience so far, the only book I have really used is the factory service manual. For other tips I ask friends or come to this board with and try the different angles people provide to see which works best for me.

Try Mopar motors out of Detroit.  I just bought a great resource for my Challenger, it's a restoration guide listing all factory fastners with diagrams and pictures to assist with tear down and assembly.  They have a B-body as well.  I may end up purchasing that as well.
