i have a 74 roadrunner, I've asked around and seems theres a difrene in steering coupler on 73 and 74 b body cars. Can any one tell me if there is a diffrence i called the dodge dealership and said there is no difrence. but year one and some other companys say there is even sevens performance even says there is any one know what the difrence is ? Even people i caled say there even no longer available through dodge.They have been discontinued and no longer available. But dodge had one left but says its been used fom the 60 to the 90s but is b body couplers difrent? hope somone can answer me this thanks again pat  Emaile me at m16king@netscape.net or ph 701 799-9491

yes they are diff.

I hope you can see diffs here:

yellow one is 74. Inside big metallic stuff ( is not more than a shield ) a thin rubber joint

next one is 73 notice the rubber joint is the thick one mith metallick inserts and the metallic coupler is just RIGHT BEFORE the rubber coupler

( of course there is also an extra difference because this last one is column shifter, but forgett about that )

74s doesn't use that one, uses this one inside the visible shield



LOTS of cars use that one. I fit on mine the one from a Toyota ( same size on everything ). Interesting on the one on pic is the metallic bushings, but our units don't have them.

Urethane are available

note I'm saying THIN rubber coupler, not the THICK one. Thick ones are on 73s

74s even have diff firewall plate AND hole to column
