Two guys forced their way into the funeral shop en above appartment, looking for $ and juwelery.
1 of the guys hit my boss with the butt of his rifle. They ran off with no loot.

Fast forward to today

I heard from the bosses'wife  that the guys are planning to pay us a 'visit'.
The news came with an anonimus letter from someone who pointed out those 2 and told the police where to look.

Now they adviced not to open the shop for anyone 'strange' looking.

Can't hang a sign '' those with bad intentions will leave in a cofiin' nor keeping a gun in the shop.

And isn't an option, they are always too late.

they expected to find a safe I suppose. We don't have many dead people in the fridge.
Besides they don't wear jewelery anymore.

It does feel a bit strange to know that some individuals will try to break in again.
Maybe it is time to invest in camera security.

CB, I have never been robbed at gun point but I fully understand your anger.  Since 1997 I have had two cars stolen and my house robbed while we were away for the holidays back in 1998.

I feel that taking the bad out is a very viable option except for the part where I would go to Jail and the bad Guy's relatives would be able to sue me for all my toys and stuff.

You have to protect yourself but just make sure you can prove that before taking somebody out.

I see you're in Belgium.  All bets are off there.  Anything that would work here in the states probably won't be legal for you.  A bat is probably your only defense.   :rotz:
When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

I was held up at gun point in college, roomate was shot in the ordeal.  He would have gotten $5 from us (what idiot robs college kids on a saturday night.....).  He was arrested 2 weks later but only after he killed a guy in downtown lansing.  We helped put him in jail.   He escaped last year but they caught him in Billings Montana when he was shooting at cops and his gun jammed.  Wish they would have finished him off.....It was (of all days) April fools day, 1989.  Its how I met my wife too, but thats a whole other story...... I do keep track of him though.  In Michigan, you can follow criminals on the DOC website.  This is the guy:

When I was 15 I worked at a Taco Johns. A couple of dudes came in with knives, made us all get on the floor and cleaned out the register. Nobody was hurt and I think they got away with $42.

Got caught in the middle of a shootout when I was about 18.  It was bewteen the Durham Regional Police and a rapist (found that out later) who was on the run.  I was told I was still white as a ghost, 20 minutes later.

I got a job at a Shell station because they were just robbed, guy put a shotgun to the clerks face, he quit, imagine that. We had bulletproof glass for the main windows and had garage bays missing glass so you could just step through. Plus the door leading to the shop floor didn't shut, so anyone could walk through the opening in the bay door and be inside. The job payed for my paintjob and motor rebuild and a down payment for my new at the time 95 Z26.

there should be a law against scum like that, so you can shoot their head with 12GA if they try to rob you, I bet after couple of those on news car prowling would go way down. Who agrees?

ive always figured that if the avg joe was allowed to carry a handgun it would solve allot of problems. i figure the badguys already do.  1,  alot of the real idiots would hurt or kill themselfs (yes some others too but this would decline as the idiots stoped reproducing im willing to take the chance)
2. as sated before the bad guys already do cary guns, but they would really have to start wondering if that lil old lady they are about to mug has a .45 in her hand bag...no fair when the odds are even hugh skumbag?
3.. do you think the AZZholes who pulled the 9-11 hijackings would have gotten far if the civilians had guns? ..ok this ones a bit flawed. being that guns going off on airplaines is a really really bad thing, but how many acts of violence do we see in the news every day that wouldnt happen if we were all as well armed as the bad guys? it makes me really mad that so many people have to live in fear every day and cant legaly do anything about it.

I fell the same way & when Ohio finally got the conceal carry bill I was tickled. I have yet to apply for a permit and go through the training etc. Thing is I have the option to carry now and still don't, probably because I never needed a gun. It would be a good excuse to get a glock as I haven't bought a handgun in several years.
