I am restoring a 72 Charger that is equipped with hide away headlights that I am trying to find info on how they are wired. Tere are three wires and the one is obviously chassis ground. Does anyone know the other two wires are wired? I want to test the motor but I am not sure of the wiring.

I made this diagram sometime ago, according on what relay you want to use.

Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

Also, remember you don't want to test the headlight motors without the headlight doors themselves hooked up - at least that's what the factory service manual says.

You can also test the motor by turning the wheel on the bottom. Just don't turn it too hard or past the stop at either end. While turning the wheel, look to see that the little square where the rod goes through turns.
