Lower Ball Joint Removal

I'm having problems removing both lower ball joints.  Using a pickle fork and 2-lb hammer, but they won't break free.  Any tricks or suggestions....maybe a bigger hammer    Thanks

We removed the spindle together with the lower ball joint. This way you can put the assembly in a vise.
Then the pickle fork and heavy hammer did the trick.
