I'm guessing here but I would imagine the 15X7 would be the same as the Magnum at 4.25". As far as the 15X8 maybe 4"? I would ask Kelly for sure.

Hmmm. :scratchchin: I'm feeling pretty good after this one. Maybe I should strike while the iron's hot.

But... who's Duane? :shruggy:

Now that I think about it maybe I could swing us a deal with Firm Feel. :scratchchin: They're not too far away.

i thought he did some of the motors on here, i think he's out of CT or somewhere over there on the eastcoast................................................

Wheel Vintiques were $50 a rim more for 15x10 Magnum 500's and $48 a rim more for the 15x8's.

Just purchased mine yesterday, they were excellent to deal with!!! :2thumbs:

Doesn't Wheel Vintique have better deals than this.  :shruggy:

I'll let you do the research on that one. I do know that this Specialty vendor pricing beats Summit's prices on Wheel Vintiques (some examples are better than others) and no one else makes the Recall wheel that I know of. :shruggy: What can I say other than shop and compare. Specialty's phone number is posted on page 2 of this thread.

Wow, This is great news. I'll be ordering a set of the chrome rim recall wheels for my '69 RoadRunner. I'm glad there was not a time limit. Thanks for setting this up and sharing with everyone.

I got my wheels today and they look really nice.
I need to pull a wheel and make sure the clearances are correct.

Then its time to start shopping for tires.

I would like to buy a set of Magnums, 15x7 and 15x8 in the rear. What backspace should I have in the rear for 295/50-15?

My 15X8s with 295/50/15 have 4.5" of backspacing but I kind of wish it had about 4" to move the tire out closer to the lip. I bought my rear Magnums used so I get what I got. You might check with Specialty to see what their standard 15X8 bs is but I've got quite a bit of room around mine on both sides. I don't readily have pictures of the inside clearance but IIRC it's about 1.5-2 inches.

Thanks again to Bull for setting up the sizeable discount with Kelly...  :notworthy:

Sweet. It's a lot of money but it looks like you got close to that 25% discount we discussed. :2thumbs: I'm sure you'll be a happy camper. You're going to post pics of them on the cars first thing, right? :yesnod:

The ones they refer to as Magnum, is that the same as these ones at summit?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WVI-54-5812042/#

Per

Yes, as I understand it. From what I gathered talking to Kelly, the Magnums are the ones w/o trime rings and the Road Wheels are the ones with (even though they look the same in the website pics). Magnums w/o trim rings are what came on the 68s while the others were stock on 69s. I believe the only reason they call the trim ring version Magnums "Road Wheels" is to make a distinction between the two but as always, don't take my word as gospel. I've only talked to Kelly one time in person and maybe three times on the phone so I'm far from qualified as a Specialty expert. If I sound non-committal it's because I am. ;D The thought of me being the cause of someone's screwed up wheel order gives me cold sweats. :P

BTW, your PM box is full so I can't reply to your other question.

I talked to Kelly and I'll be ordering Rallye wheel center caps for the Duster near the end of November. :2thumbs:
